I wanted to thank you all that replied for your kind words. They really did make me feel much better.

When P got up from his nap, dh went to get him (since he was leaving for out of town shortly after). They came downstairs and I immediately apologized for what I had done (being very specific to say what exactly I was apologizing for). P reached out for me and wanted me to hold/cuddle him right away. It's amazing how he just forgave and didn't hold any grudge. I'm truelly blessed!
