foreclosure on my street

There is a house that just went into foreclosure on my street.  How do I find out more information on it?  Would that be public info?  Thanks!

    Hmmm, there are some websites for foreclosures but I really don't know what they are.  My mom has recently bought a few foreclosed homes that my brother is fixing up and then she is renting them... I'll see where she finds them...

    I think they're required to publish in the local paper. Not 100% though...

    You can check the tax record.  That is public info.

    Find out what the "legal organ" is for your county.  Each county has a paper that all foreclosures must be published in for a certain period of time. For Fulton County it is the Fulton Daily Report. For DeKalb it is the Champion.  You should be able to find some information there.

    Google maps has a real estate button that's allowed me to see foreclosures.
