Park activity: Digging in dirt/mud. Putting it into a bucket. Then she sticks various leaves, sticks and stones in it and calls it 'cake'. Then she'll do the whole thing over again in a smaller container and call it 'hot chocolate'.
Home activity: She's *really* into her "tomato project" right now. We saved coffee cans. Decorated them with tissue paper. Planted the seeds. And now they're about 8" tall. She talks to them every day. Waters them. Hugs the cans. Now I have to figure out how to transplant them and get them to produce fruit without killing the things.
She also adores painting, but I'm a mean mommy and hate the mess. They let her paint to her heart's content in the atelier at school, though. Hooray!
Cooking/baking is also a hit. She's a great help in the kitchen. Again, she gets exposure to this at school. She spends time in the tasting atelier at school with Chef Tony every day.
