I am looking for organic formula. Just wondering if they even have baby products there. We've had one in town for a couple of years and I've never even been.

There are 3 big organic ones: Similac Organic (found anywhere Similac is usually), Earth's Best (my Kroger has it, Whole Foods, etc. in the natural food section of regular stores), and Baby's Only (Whole Foods and online).

Thank you. I wish we had Whole Foods or Kroger here. The only store in town that supposedly carried Earth's Best according to their website does not.
To add to the pain of finding organic, it has to be soy based because of J's milk allergy. I think I will have to buy online.

That's annoying!
With soy you are looking at Earth's Best and Baby's Only then... the sugar in EB is lactose and BO is lactose and brown rice syrup, unlike Similac.
ETA: Duh, I just realized that the soy versions probably aren't sweetened with lactose. haha Anyway, I know the 3 have very distinct differences in opinions of what they should be sweetened with.
Still on the topic of that similac article... I was told they make it so sweet to be similar to breast milk. Yeah, it's not great for babies to have a ton of sugar obviously, but breast milk is MUCH sweeter than any formula so I'm not all that concerned. Esp because they can only develop a taste for sweets and only consume sweets later on if you LET them. It's not like my 13 month old will be going down to the store to buy juice and soda. He just won't even have the option to ever consume that stuff until MUCH later.
Re: Does Trader Joe's sell formula?
Darn it!!
Thanks.
Sure. Earth's Best makes an Organic Formula and So does Similac (green label). I'm sure there are others as well.
GL!
Hmmm... you might want to read this. I hate that there are corn syrup solids in Gentlease but since its what the boys tolerate best I got stuck. Sigh.

I;d rather DS have extra (REAL) sugar vs. hormones and crap in dairy and HFCS in reg. formua.

This is interesting.
Thanks for pointing it out to me!
