Last night she woke up crying at 12:15. I went in and nursed her but a few minutes in she started wigging out and then continued to cry almost non stop for the next two hours when she finally fell asleep next to me on the family room floor. Any time I tried to offer her my breast she wigged out. I thought she was just overtired because she hadn't slept well yesterday and we went to my moms for dinner on top of that.
I moved her into bed with us and she woke up at one point because she lost her pacifier. I found it but offered her my breast because she usually nurses multiple times overnight. Total wigging out ensued. Gave her back her pacifier and she fell back asleep. Woke up calmly this morning so I offered her my breast again. Wigged out. She hasn't eaten since 9 last night and she normally nurses at least a few times overnight (I know at 6 months that's not necessary but it's the norm for her and she certainly should be hungry by now).
She's not full scale freaking out like she did last night but she's fussy and not all together happy either and the eating this is really bothering me. I'm calling the pedi as soon as they open.
Re: Something wrong with Ariel - calling Pedi
Any chance she's teething? This sounds similar to how DD was a month ago. She now has two teeth popped through
I was hoping she'd make it to 10 mos like her sister :
Also, DS went on a bit of a nursing strike around that age.

I hope she feels better and I hope you can take care of your boobs. Get into a hot shower and express by hand if you need to.
Good Luck

ditto on the teething though. hopefully it will be something like that
Get thee a warm heatpack, lay it accross the top of your breasts, and hand express. The heat should help with let down.
