Woven wrap help

I have just about every type of carrier except a woven wrap.  I am overwhelmed with the choices.

I am looking for something pretty and fairly lightweight for the summer.  I don't want to spend more than like 125$ ideally.  Used is fine.

Suggestions?  What are you favorites?

Re: Woven wrap help

  • vatanai kipawa! buy used! so soft and lightweight, yet very supportive!
  • Vatanai is great -- I have a Maruyama.  I love the way she looks but am having a harder time finding the wrap love with her.  BBslens are also thin but tend to be very wide so they might overwhelm you with fabric.  I like the waves weave Didys -- they are airy somehow even though they aren't really talked about as a lightweight wrap.  HTH!

  • The width is part of my concern with the bbslen.  I currently have a Moby- is it significantly wider than that?  The Moby seems plenty wide to me.
  • I didn't use a Moby...but if you ask on TBW I'm sure someone could help.  I'm sorry...

  • I am loving my new Storchenwiege!  It seems pretty thin to me, but I don't have much to compare it to!  I really want a Vat next.

I've heard Maruyama is almost too thin to be comfortable- I wanted to get one, but passed when I heard this.

To the OP, I like BBSlens- they're tough cookies, good for summer, great colors and can be used just about forever. And are well below your budget. :)
