One of my closest friends has just started being induced at 40w 2d. This is her only child, she is 41 and has a heart condition. She had to be cleared to even get pregnant and has been closely monitored by a team including her OB, anesthesiologist, and 2 heart doctors her whole pregnancy. They have been preparing for this. They just started and are already worried about her heart handling things and are transfering her to another hospital. They think she should make it through the birth but are not sure about after.

Her husband is a widow, he spent 8 years alone raising his son after he lost his first wife to cancer. Please, please, please take a moment to send some vibes the Philadelphia way.
