Dating again is weird....

Besides the fact that I haven't really done this in almost 10 years, I'm finding out how different I am than I used to be when it comes to dating and what I want from someone...

Clingy? Nope. Constant contact? Not necessary. Being called "my sweetie" after just a few dates? Uhh.... "i miss you" scares the crap out of me.... "i really like you" scares me even more.

Maybe I'm not ready.  The company is nice and being social is fun, but oh man...awkward...

I'm going through the same thing! I have one really nice, attractive, succesful guy who emails me and sends sweet messages - and I do good to send one email back a week. I'm busy, I enjoy my life with my children and my job - and really? I don't know that I want to get back on the marriage horse again.

I am in a similar boat. I am MUCH too busy to consider seriously dating anyone. So I'm just socializing, having fun, and making sure it is clear that I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now.

Yes... and it seems like it makes them like you even more when you are like this. Ugh
