Re: XP: Dog rescue transport help - May 1
Nope, not that I've seen yet. If so, I'm going to be mad that I haven't found them yet!
The adopter has been working with the local rep, but I don't know if there was something special about this dog (in terms of if they're looking for a particular color/coat/size) or what.
The northeast in general takes better care of their pets than the southeast or Midwest, so there shelters in the NE that transport dogs in because there aren't as many dogs in the shelter as the demand (I think NH and Maine are two examples that come to mind).
I love to send my fosters out to your area (I've had probably 3/4 of my fosters head east over the last two years) because people care for their pets so much better in comparison to my area
I wish I could help out. I'm currently on bed rest with my pregnancy. Please keep me in mind for the future.
