Making cupcakes with your kid cures what ails them. Jo is in a foul mood today. We left gymnastics early because she was in a wretched mood. We came home, more awful mood.
Then we got out the devils food recipe, the butter cream icing recipe. Now my kitchen is a mess, I'm pretty sure Jo has decided licking the icing beater is the best thing ever, and we have a strange coloured icing because Jo couldn't decide between blue, yellow and red coloured icing.
The cupcakes are cooling. Waiting to be iced and someone is settling down reading books and smiling.
Just an FYI. Cupcakes. Just making cupcakes = better mood for all.
Re: FYI mothers of toddlers
Are you sure it's not the sugar changing her mood? hehe.
A little sugar almost always cures my son's cranky pants moods. The process doesn't hurt either.
I could use a cupcake right now.
By the way, *waves*, how are you, lady?
Hi hi! I'm good. Actually thinking of heading your way to see the butterfly conservatory soon. Any chance you'd be up for meeting up with Jo and I?
Oh and by soon I mean maybe, end of May?
I'm sure it did have a little to do with that.
I would love that! It's a pretty cool place.
and if your toddler isn't quite old enough to help with some of those tasks, one of Marion's favorite kitchen things is to put muffin cups in a muffin tin.
She's so proud of herself when she gets done and it really does help me too!

Some douche one starred this post, so I just gave it five to even things out. Cupcakes and toddler smiles deserve at least three stars, IMO.
