As of right now DH is unemployed as a teacher for next school year. :(

DH is a new teacher ( first year after a career change from engineering.)  and low on the totem pole.  His half time position was fulltime then back to part time and now nonexistent for next school year.  He is beyond upset and feels horrible that I may have to  continue working fulltime for yet again another year.  I have always been the sole breadwinner for our family since he has always been in school and working part time.

DH actually interviewed for a teaching job at another school district and will find out Monday if he got the job.  Any good thoughts, vibes or prayers you ladies have would be much appreciated.  As much as I want to cut back my hours and stay home more with my kiddos, it isn't looking possible quite yet.  And my DH's morale is sinking as it has been a struggle for him to accept that he isn't the main monetary provider for his (growing) family.

Ugh, I'm sorry.  The same thing has happened more than once to my DH's cousin.  IIRC, you are close to Cincinnati?  Several of the ladies on the cincy bump board are teachers or are married to teachers so maybe they can help w/ leads.

We're having similar-sounding self-doubt questions about being a "provider" right now. It's so hard, and I'm sorry you're having to go through it! My fingers are crossed, and I'm saying prayers that something works out perfectly!

Same there over here, my dh is a teacher that got his slip too... And no unemployment since they won't count School District income, total lame.
