Can I AW? Back to my pre-pg weight after only...

...five YEARS!  Ugh!  But hey, at least I got here, right? 

I got PG with DD1 just about five years ago and I'm finally back down to what I was before that.  I got within about 5 lbs before I got PG with DD2.

I kept some clothes thinking I'd want to wear them again once I was back to this weight--yeah, after 5 years, they are mostly out of style.  Guess it's time to go shopping!  Stick out tongue

Thanks for listening--I don't often post things like this but I'm so freakin' excited!  I lost 10 lbs in about 2 months watching portions and keeping a food journal.  Those last 5 lbs FINALLY came off.  Yay!

  • yay!  ds (my #2) is 2 1/2 and I'm no where near prepg weight before him, much less before dd.  have about 20lb to lose. blah.

  • YAY for you!! I was in a similar situation, I gained a ton with DS1, and got down to pre-pg riiiiight when I got PG again. Unfortunately, even though DS2 is a little over 2, I'm still stuck about 10-15 pounds above the pre-pg. Congrats!!

    I used the Livestrong Daily Plate thing as my food journal.  Not sure if you are using an online one or not.  That one has a big database full of food already so I didn't have to do much other than say how much of something I ate.  There's no WAY I would have been able to keep it up tracking things manually.

    I think I kept it up for 4-6 weeks and then got a handle on what and how much to eat so I stopped using the journal.  Good luck to you!
