So last night I went to this huge consignment sale. the website is www.jbfsale.com in case anyone wants to find one near you... They are awesome and you can sign up to go to a special presale for first time moms!

I got:

a mei tai baby carrier

baby moniter

6 medela bottles

2 playtex drop in bottles

5 receiving blankets

3 swaddling blankets (kiddopotamaus)

1 JoJo Designs outfit

A set of padded corner cushions (for the coffee table)

a car seat head support

a whole bunch of socks and toys

and I spent $85

the mei tai alone retails for $80!!! Yay for good deals!!!

On a side note, I noticed your cat likes to get in the bassinet. I learned that if there is anything you don't want the cat to get into (crib, bassinet, etc) set some mousetraps upside down in the bassinet and cover them with paper. That way when she tries to jump in she'll set off the traps and she'll realize very quickly she's not supposed to be in there. (Of course the traps won't hurt her, just startle her)
