First pregnancy tearful outburst tonight

I am so not a crier so this was near torture for me.  We bought a new car, and as we were waiting for the finance guy, I started thinking about how long I've had my car and all the places it's been.  I got this car when I turned 16 so I've had it for a long time and there are a lot of memories.  Well as the sales and finance guy were walking back to us, I burst into uncontrollable sobbing.  Yeah.  I felt like an idiot but couldn't control it! DH didn't know what to do with me.  Oh well, at least we got a new car!

I've had only a few of those--tonight was one. DH and I were driving home from the birth center, thinking that the next time we go might be "it." On another topic, we started being really silly and shared some deep belly laughs. I couldn't stop laughing! Then, I started thinking about how we drove coast-to-coast last summer, how much time we had spent together, and how many laughs and memories we have shared just being the two of us.

I went from uncontrollable laughter to uncontrollable crying. "It's not going to be just us anymore!" Of course, I'm happy to have our sproutlet here soon, but I know things will be more complicated. 

DH kept me grounded by saying, "You don't think we'll have laughs like this with our child?"

And then he leaned over to my stomach and said, "Baby, your mom is going crazy!"

and just reading soyager's post got me all teary too.  the hormones are something special, aren't they?  haha..

btw - my dh has also had the 'baby, your mama's goin craaaazy' talk with our inside baby too.. lol.. 

fwiw i got some better through most of second tri.  third tri has been a rollercoaster of hormones though - esp the second half.  :-)  

speaking of which - welcome to second tri!!  i just noticed your ticker!

Aww, welcome to pregnancy!  It happens to the best of us.  My first major outburst was at my cat and DH wasn't even home.  I told him about it later though and we both laughed so hard we cried.

I totally had an emotional moment the other night. I'm carrying all of my weight in my belly...and I started thinking about what that meant as far as loosing weight. So I just randomly burst into tears with a chorus of "My stomach with be flabby and stretched out forever!" DH was so sweet about it but I think he got a good laugh out of it as well.
