does your local theater do mommy showings of movies?

I was chatting with a friend on FB who lives in TX and she says her local movie theater does first run movies once a month with a matinee showing designated for moms/babies/kids...

I asked at xgates (in albany) and they do free kids movies in the summer but nothing first run ...

do they have this in buff? roch? syr?

albany ladies I was thinking of trying to get this started (maybe in time for Eclipse..LOL)- would you be willing to sign a petition?

uhm not to ruin it for anybody but they might have a baby and it might happen later- but if they did- it wouldnt happen in Eclipse...

(and dude, Eclipse was sooooo good...New moon dragged- but eclipse was awesome- you have to read it...for me...skip new moon- this is what happens: edward leaves- warewolves- edward comes back (and proposes :::squee::) and all is right in the world...so you can now read eclipse...)

I read twilight in like a day...and ran out to get new moon...and I think I got sick of the summary stuff and yeah, it was dragging. Plus I was pregnant with Evan so I would've rather slept than read.

I'll get back into it at some point. But I'm too OCD to skip a book. : )

I would have loved a mommy showing when I first had Ian. It was so hot that summer and I was going nuts being cooped up all the time. I'd sign the petition, C!

i don't think any of the places do around here.. But when does Eclipse come out? We took Eve to the drive in last summer.. It worked out really well. We thought she would sleep.. but she stayed awake almost the whole time, but she was SOOOO fascinated by the giant screen that it kept her happy.. That might be an idea for you ladies with LOs
