Hi ladies! For those of you who have some spare time, I need some help. I was looking at Target online for bedding. The Tiddliwinks Vintage Varsity spoke to me. I'm wondering though why is it so cheap? I guess I'm thinking $69 is cheap because I keep seeing bedding that is near $200. Is this for a full size crib? Is it crappy for something? What do you think? Any advice is appreciated.
Re: Need clarification with bedding...
for the reviews of the other styles of the Tiddliwinks products they all seem to have high ratings, and most say good quality...
it's cute, but it's only a 3pc so thats why its pretty cheap.. i found a 13 pc set from Geenny on Amazon for $99.00. (reg $250.00) and all the reviews raved about it.
always read the reviews before buying anything online
I've seen some of the Tiddliwinks stuff in person and it doesn't appear to be cheaply made. I would look up reviews on quality before you buy, but overall I think its just not a really expensive brand and the set is only 3 pieces.
Super cute set though!
I would think it's so cheap because it's only a 3 piece set. Mine was $175 or something and it's a 6 piece.
The other thing to consider is if the sheet has all-around elastic. Baby Bargains made a big deal out of this and I wasn't sold until I put our sheets on the crib mattress. I can imagine not having full elastic would make it very easy for baby to grab and pull up the sheets.
(you can also just buy sheets elsewhere like PBK or wherever to match this set, which is super cute!)
