Considering buying this with a GC from a friend. I know you mentioned before that your son sleeps well in it. Is it sturdy? wondering if it could be knocked over easily by a toddler or dog?

Knocked over...no. It does rock though, but it is designed to rock. DD plays with it all the time and she's never been able to knock it over. She can climb into it though

Also, contrary to what some of the reviews say, it is very stable and it can't fold up unless you press in the lock buttons. I would say that you would have to run into it pretty hard to knock it over, but I keep it in DS's room and DD only messes with it when I'm in there as well.

is he still in it? it says up to 25lbs right?

is it any different than a bouncy seat other than the legs and rocking?

He's about 15 lbs and still in it. Its the only way he sleeps at night. And its very different from a bouncy chair. The angle is steeper and it has more support and the sides are mesh (like a mesh bumper on a crib). its much better for a baby with reflux than a bouncer or a swing, at least I think so. It really works for DS.
