NBR Prego Brain mistake - help

My DH and I are hosting a dinner for 12 people.  I order chili's chicken and beef fajitas, salad, quesadillas.  I picked up all of the food today and called my DH to make sure that he was home getting everything together.  He then told me that he wasn't at home because the dinner is TOMORROW.  OMG I just spent $150 on food. So embarrassing and frustrating.  I knew that it was the 22nd but somehow I forgot.

Any tips on how to save the food so that it is still good tomorrow?  TIA

- Chicken and beef I put in the refrigerator (Should I just heat up in oven?)

- Salad with chicken I put in the refrigerator (do you think that this will last?)

- Quesadilla (Don't know what to do?)

 - Queso (put in fridge) - I will heat up on stop

Re: NBR Prego Brain mistake - help

  • i think it should all last in the fridge for 24 hours.. Just heat it up tomorrow, im sure that would be fine.
  • It will all be safe to eat tomorrow. I would warm it all up in the oven instead of microwave - just keep the heat at 350 or less. The quesadillas are the only things that might not heat up as well, but really, it should all be fine :)
  • Loading the player...
  • If you have a convection oven option on your oven or toaster oven, it might crisp up the quesadillas, but I TTA with pp's-those do not reheat well.
