It's a message board. They are snarky. Don't like it, don't frequent. It's a simple concept ladies.
And LOL at the judging of people's morals. Another drama queen.
I am not saying GBCN and I understand about how the internet works and "anonymity cruelty". However, I have a right to speak up everytime this happens just like you guys have a right to be snarky. Just expect me to be the naysayer when it comes to these kind of threads.
Feel free to be the naysayer but please, find a better argument than the "hiding behind a keyboard" one.
I am a HUGE biitch in real life. I would say the same thing to my friend's face if she was giving herself a pelvic one day. And, then I would send out a PSA email to all of our friends about keeping their fingers out of their pregnant vag.
So, find a different fault but I am not hiding behind a keyboard. Promise!
Well, at least we have a understanding. Also, I don't mind being alone in my opinion because I think it is valid to treat others fairly even on online.
Even though these threads are the negatives of thebump, the women here can be very helpful and caring. This is why I like thebump. I'm just disappointed everytime I see these threads.. and that is why I am against these posts.
I don't mind being the person who ruines the party/fun.. maybe this will encourage you ladies to do this privately.. maybe it won't. But either way, I am not going to do nothing at all and let this behavior to continue without saying anything.

Oh, this is just too funny.
1. I'm sorry internet strangers disappoint you
2. Your morals obviously aren't that high if you are encouraging us to just talk shiit behind people's backs. I prefer to put it all out there and not be fake.
3. Thanks mom, I'm glad you feel the need to scold me about my behavior.
I think I am done on 2nd Tri board. It is becoming too dramtic for my tastes. Good job ladies making that woman feel like a complete idiot.
I have talked to my doctor and he said that I can do self exams if I notice that something is different than normal. Please stop being mean to people. As long as the OP did not "jab" at her cervix then there is nothing wrong, or gross, ect... about being in tune with the changes going on in your body.
You're sweet! However, I don't take it personally. I just disagree. On the other hand, I do understand that a doc would discourage a woman from "jamming her finger up there and really messing stuff up". I suppose they could fear that a woman could shove her whole hand up there and give the cervix a good yank or something. So, they must have told them just to keep away from that area. My doc knows that I am not going to torment my poor cervix. And, he respects the fact that I am also a healthcare professional, too, and knows that I am smart enough not to do anything stupid or to stick my hand up there on a daily basis.
You're wrong. Its actually OK and much cleaner than a penis.
I don't know what kind of penises you hang around
:::DIES:::
I am trying to keep a straight face so my student's don't know that I am not paying attention in the back BUT it was very hard to not laugh out loud while reading this!

I agree. How can a message board full of adult women be so snarky and immature? I understand when you don't agree and state your opinion but making multiple posts just to make fun of those OPs is not approriate. Learn some morals and decent respect for other individuals.

Thanks for standing up for what is right. I hate when these women begin acting like this.

I wasn't pregnant at the time, but I once found a cervical polyp on my own that my husband had been completly oblivious to. My doctor and I were slightly embarassed by the fact that I had found it myself- but he was impressed none the less and congratulated me for having been so in tune.
Male fingers in the vagina are a pretty normal part of hetero-sexual behavior and I have never seen any warning against avoiding that aspect of sex during pregnancy, so why would your own fingers be such a no-no? This is a perfect example of some stupid, immature, prudish, made up drama. Grow the heck up mean pregnant ladies, get in touch with your body, have some decent manners and stop making fun of people.

I love how some of the people on here are so quick to say "call your doctor and stop asking internet strangers" but it doesn't stop them from acting like "internet doctors" and providing medical advice like they've attended medical school and been practicing for years.
Re: Seriously ladies, get your fingers out of your vag
LCB, congrats on the best thread title ever. That is all.

You know what I mean. If my friend decided to email me about giving herself a pelvic.
Hey, atleast my brother won't be watching me give birth a la 1st tri farmer boy.

For the love of god Shelly you are making me howl with laughter.
"I am not going to do nothing at all and let this behavior to continue without saying anything".
Okay little miss. Have a great time being the bump police. LMAO.
Thanks for the laugh though.

Well this has been an entertaining read.
Thanks LCB.

why "ick?" i mean, i'm not into checking my own cervix, but i don't think it's gross either.
hormones + boredom = high school
