The nurse I met with asked when my last LMP was. I know it was 3/8, so she guessed my due date as 12/13 based on that...I know I ovulated late that cycle though, so when I go for an u/s, do you think that will push my due date off?
Ha, that's exactly what's going on with me! The exact same dates and everything. Like PPs said, I'm not going to get hung up on it now because it's just a date and it'll change after the u/s and probably down the road too. (But when they change the EDD after the 1st u/s, it will be hard for me not to say "I told you so!" lol)
I had actually thought that I ovulated early in my last cycle. So I thought my EDD would be changed to earlier in the month or even late Nov, but at my u/s yesterday, they said the baby was measuring right on.
I pretty much think they base everyones due dates off you LMP, it honestly just an estimation as everyone does not know when they ovulated. I wouldnt worry about it , most weoman do not acctually have the baby on their due date
Re: Dumb due date question
It's possible. Many people's due dates will change after their 1st, or subsequent ultrasounds.
Plus, don't get too attached to a date as only 1 in 20 women actually deliver on that day.
