DH has Graves Disease

The doctor just called & confirmed. He had very elevated thyroid levels on his blood work at his annual physical, so he had to undergo the radioactive iodine test last week.

He's being referred to an endocrinologist. Hopefully they'll get him treatment quickly - he's been feeling pretty terrible.

Thanks! He should hopefully hear back with an appt time soon. I'm sure they'll recommend that irradiation or whatever it is called. I'll give you a shout if we have questions.

I am lurking from BOTB, but I wanted to tell you I have Graves.  I was diagnosed about 8 years ago.

Let me know if you have any questions either by PMing me or paging me on BOTB. 

Thankfully, it is a really easy disease to control with medicine and diet.
