Are they a huge pain to install? We use my car 95% of the time so I was thinking of just 1 additional for DH's car and my parents to use when needed. Is that unrealistic?
We have both a Graco Myride and a Cosco Scenera and both were easy to install for both me and DH. We switch either of them into MIL or FIL's cars when they take DD every other week or so. I'd much rather do this then buy a 3rd one that wouldn't get used that often.
If you have a newer car (I think 2003+) it has the latch system. I know the Evenflo Syphony 65's come with the latch's. All you have to do is take it out of the box and click the things into the latch system. Some people say to put a pool noodle under the front of the seat (backward facing so twards the car's back seat) and put the carseat on top of it so it leans back a bit. If not, you can always use those little metal clips and clip the seat belt down so it's secure.
I bought 2 of them, one for each car. I really like the seat and the straps are easy to ajust.
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
Re: s/o Convertable seats
We couldn't figure it out and had a certified installer do it for us.
That doesn't sound encouraging
