1st wardrobe freakout...

So this morning I had my 1st official wardrobe freakout- couldn't find anything that looked right, and I changed like 6 times. Everything was just tight and uncomfortable!! I'm not all worried about getting "fat" and such, but it's just a little frustrating when the wardrobe is not fitting!

Then to top it off? Someone at work told me I looked like I had a baby bump. LoL- Thanks!

Anyone else having similar experiences?? I guess it might be time to go shopping...

  • I went shopping yesterday.  If there is a Destination Maternity near you I suggest you go there.  The people are fantastic there!  Anyhow here is my story...went to the movies with DH yesterday in my normal jeans and tshirt and I just kinda looked fat.  People kept looking at me funny.  Today I ran into a friend and her mother inlaw in Wal-Mart and MIL says oh you are starting to show already.  lol Thanks!  I wasn't feeling chubby enough today.

  • I got my first pair of maternity pants (last pregnancy) at 10 weeks because I could no longer fit into anything.

Right now, everything is starting to feel snuggish on me, so I will probably go shopping pretty soon..

  • OMG, that happened to me last week.  None of work pants were fitting and I felt like none of my button ups would button because my boobs are huge!  DH treated me to some retail therapy but we didn't go get maternity clothes.  I headed over the Marshalls and indulged in a very cute maxi dress, another stretchy fabric dress and some size L yoga pants :) oh, and a new bra! didn't solve me work clothes situation but it did make me feel a little sexy for about a minute.

  • Yep, I just decided tomorrow that I am wearing a maternity dress.  It's a cute black dress that I got on a great sale at Gap.  The only thing that I notice is the hem is a little longer in front than in back but I don't think anyone will look that closely.  After spending the whole day pulling my shirt down because it doesn't cover my bloated belly, I just decided to give in.

  • Oh yes, and my first freak out was yesterday when I literally cried because I had no jeans that fit.  Of course, after the temper tantrum I found the one pair I had stuffed at the back because I accidently bought them a size too big.  Of course they fit now and I felt stupid....

  • um...i went to dinner with DH and half way through i unbuttoned AND unzipped my pants cuz they were way too tight! Embarrassed  lol thank goodness i had on a long top!

  • Yeah I am very body conscious, and I had a meltdown on sunday while trying to buy clothes. I still think I am in denial, but will probably give in to buying maternity pants very soon, as my current pants are unbuttoned or too tight for comfort. Hang in there, not alone.
