Pregnancy caught up with me

We're generally very active people.  I'm someone who has to have 5 million things going at once and thrives with a lengthy to-do list of things to cross off.  The weekends are my glory time when I get sh*t done.

Saturday I had this to-do list: drop off household waste at the collection, get oil for the lawnmower, mow the lawn, fence off the garden beds, plant seeds, make bread, go to the library, then my niece & nephew's 3rd birthday party that night.

I got a good chunk of it done.  I think more would have gotten done if DH hadn't added "Clean out the garage" to the list.  But I had dropped off the toxic crap to be properly disposed of (there was a larger line than I anticipated), bought the fencing materials, prepped the lawnmower for spring, put the snowblower away for the summer, mowed the lawn (we have 3/4 acre and a hand mower. it takes a bit), weeded a bit, ran to buy presents for the kids' party, got back, showered and we left.  I figured I could finish the rest today.

This morning I felt like crap.  Didn't do a damn thing. I actually took a 2 hour nap this afternoon.  I never nap.

We did just put the fencing up, so that at least got done.  And I may make bread tonight if I can scrape together the motivation.  But, still.  I'm not pleased with this lazy me but I can't.help.it.  Gah.

  • you can feel better knowing that you've had a more productive weekend than I've had since I got my BFP! Exhaustion and nausea have ruled my life lately!  Job well done!!

    Good for you in general! Make sure you eat enough protein and drink enough water, and that'll help keep your activity level high. But REST when your body says to! I've also taken a bunch of naps (basically one a day), which I never do. But sometimes it's because I haven't had enough water.
