We told BIL today at lunch because he's been visiting. We'll tell parents in a few days.

I said, "we have something to tell you," and he said, "you're preggo?"

He said he figured it out and in fact thought we had been trying for a long time! He said that his mom (MIL) was saying DH and I were up to something a year or two ago! So not true...we tried for 3 months or so. I got off the pill almost a year ago, but we used condoms and then rhythm method for a while. I just find it hilarious that she's been thinking that this whole time. Maybe because we told people years and years ago that we wanted kids. But we weren't ready for a while....

So, we'll tell the parents (both sets) in a few days. I wonder if my parents will react the same way (knowing all along). I might wait up to a week to tell my sisters, though, because one of my sisters is going through a rough patch right now and I don't want to rub this in to her (she wants kids but is not married).
