I have m/s all of the time, but when I put something in my mouth I feel way better. Anyone know what this is? I don't want to feel sick, but also don't want to be the mom that gains 60lbs
I had a friend like this when she was pregnant with her first! she literally carried a zip-lock bag of oyster crackers everywhere with her and just nibbled on them constantly! not sure what would cause that, tho..
btw I hate being jealous of people with m/s!!!! I want it too!!!

Be careful what you wish for! Mine hit last time right at 6 weeks!
I don't know why eating helps- with DS I ate cheerios and oyster crackers all.day.long. I did gain like 9-10lb in the 1st tri, but ended up at 37 total, so not too awful!!
Sucking on lemonheads or jolly ranchers helps too. And eat something before you even try to get out of bed! GL!
Eating helps because it stablizes your blood glucose (blood sugar). That is why alot of people complain of being more sick in the morning, especially just after waking up. Because you obvisously don't eat while you're sleep so you blood glucose falls a little bit. So when you wake up your blood glucose is low, leading to morning sickness. Then once you eat your blood glucose rising and starts to stablize, that's why eating helps. This is why they tell you to eat small frequent meals throughout the day.
