cant find on kellymom

does anyone know how long refredigerated milk can be out of fridge before its bad. I pumped 5 oz last night, and 3 today to put in a bottle for a baby free date night (woo!). 

so basically I have an 8 oz bottle and am going on a hr car ride, can the milk be out that long or is it ok to re-refridgerate it once I arrive at my familys?

Can you put in a cooler during the car ride?

ETA: It says this on kellymom:

"If baby does not finish milk at one feeding, it may be refrigerated and offered at the next feeding before it is discarded." 

So it seems like if you had it out for an hour you should be able to re-refrigerate it and use it again soon after. I would definitely smell it before offering it to LO though.

Maybe a plastic bowl with a lid filled with ice?  I would rather keep it cool just in case.

Put some ice in a zip lock around it.  I think it will be fine.  Smell just in case.

This.  We transferred milk to the NICU every day and used a little cooler with an ice block.  I think the bag with ice would be perfectly fine.

if you happen to have a bag of frozen peas in the freezer they work great. they wrap well around bottles or whatever. you should be fine. have fun!
