The first time I heard it I was nursing him. My shirt was pulled up and he was grabbing my side - I asked him, "Are you grabbing my love handles?" and he giggled at me. So funny, we were both laughing at each other.
Funny you should ask, since DD just did it for the first time this week. We were playing pat-a-cake, and she just giggled at the end. Since then, I've been falling all over myself to make her laugh, but she's only done it a couple of times.
I dropped the remote yesterday and said "Darn it!" and she giggled.

DS started at about 3.5 months, but his laughs are few and far between! DH can really get him going sometimes. I spend all day trying to make him laugh and get nothing.
She has happy coos, but no actual laugh yet. She's pretty quiet though and likes to take in everything around her before giving anyone the satisfaction of talking to them.
i know ds started smiling around 2 months (photo in my siggy) and as for laughing he started doing little laughs right after that. i've noticed that he does the most smiles and laughs after he wakes up from sleep on his own. i cannot walk away when he starts to smile/laugh.....it locks me in.
Re: When did your LO start to giggle/laugh?
DS has kind of chuckled a few random times.
