Pregnancy Scare (Long)

Well Wednesday evening I had light spotting when I wiped. It was red about 15 minutes so DH and I went to ER. By the time I got there it was brown. I wore a pantyliner on the way there and there wasn't enough to even fill it up (or barely see it for that matter). So sorry for the TMI! I never had any cramps just the few spots.

Anyway, er doc took my blood, levels were at 10k and they did an u/s. We could see the little dot  but doc was concerned that he couldn't detect the heartbeat. Doc kept telling me since I was "so close to 7 weeks" there should have been a heartbeat. I kept explaining to the man I was only 6 weeks exactly on that day but he kept placing me at 7 weeks. I charted so I know when I O'd. But anyway I have to get more bloodwork tomorrow to see where my levels are and if they look good I will have another u/s next week.

 I'm really hoping that I was dealing with an incompetant doctor and everything is fine. I have read time and time again that minor spotting can be normal but he insisted I need to prepare myself for more spotting and some  cramping and gave me a presciption for Vicodin for when "the pain gets to bad." Sad

Its been an emotional rollercoaster since then and I'm hoping and praying that since there hasn't been anymore spotting and no cramping that this was just a fluke and my LO is alright. My symptoms are still come and go so I'm trying not to think too much into it.

Thoughts and Prayers are appreciated, I really want my LO to be alright.
