Okay, not really... DH and I went to a counselor that deals specifically with DS issues and other similar IF stuff. The therapist thinks my husband has reconciled his IF issues and the possibility of going forward with a donor and that he is living in the "now" by trying to give me as normal of experience as possible by allowing me to go through pregnancy. She seems to think I am overthinking things and that I want ALL the answers about how this will affect our marriage, whether my husband will love our DS-conceived child and how to tell our children. Perhaps because I am worried about all of what will happen in the future. I think she is right. Tonight helped me really understand that DH has truly accepted DS and that he is truly excited to share a pregnancy with me. I feel better and a little closer to being ready for DS. I'm glad we went. I feel like I have more clarity than before.

It sounds like it went really well and you were able to take something away from it. I really think counseling at its best makes you reflect on your choices and just helps bring clarity. I think it is awesome that you had the opportunity to meet with a counselor that deals with donor issues.
I love counseling though and would go all the time if I could afford it.
I am really excited for you!
