Eviction Notice Served...

Baby Girl has to be out by May 7, lol!

I couldn't decide if I wanted to try for a VBAC or just schedule a repeat section.  The risks, although slim, of VBAC terrify me.  The idea of recovering from a section with a toddler and newborn terrify me.  So, I've been talking with my dr (she's game for either) & I finally decided that we'd schedule a VBAC 5 days from my due date (the most convenient for us...if we're going to schedule a section, it might as well be convenient!), and if she comes early, we'll try for a VBAC.  Either way, Baby Girl H will be here no later than 3 weeks from today!

  • Congrats on having that date set!!

FWIW, I had a planned c/s with both kids and it was really no big deal at all to recover from, even with a toddler!  I know everyone will have a different experience, but if you do end up with the c/s, it won't necessarily be bad at all.  I was lifting DS by the time I came home from the hospital.  I hope you get your VBAC, though!

Ditto this! Recovering from gallbladder surgery 2 weeks after my c/s was soooo much more worse than the c/s recovery.

  • yay! my csection is scheduled for may 7th too! :) just hoping i make it that far.
