Hi Ladies!! I just got home from the hospital last night.
I was able to make it until Monday for my husband to get back from Texas to have the baby. By Monday, my pressures were defiently starting to get high and the baby had officially been diagnosed with IUGR. I was nervous and kept having flash backs to my emergancy c-section with Angelina as they rolled me into the OR, but the second time was sooooooooooo much easier!!!!
With my hubby by my side, we welcomed Vincent Christopher into the world at 12:48pm, April 12, 2010. He came out screaming with APGAR scores of 9 and 9. He weighed 4lbs 13oz and was 17.5 inches long. He was almost 5 times bigger than Angelina! I was able to room in with him while I stayed in the hospital and he had absolutley no breathing problems. We did have some troubles with feeding and jaundice.
The only bad thing is that wWe had to leave him behind as a boader in the regular nursery because he wasn't eating as much as they would have liked when it was time to discharge me. The good news is that, since I left he has started to feed much better and will probably only have to stay a couple of days. Below are some pictures!

SO precious. Glad it was an easier birth experience. I'm sorry he had to stay; hope he's home SUPER soon.
If you don't mind, can you tell me if it was easier to be discharged without him this time than when it happened with DD? I fear this happening to me again in future pgs and am not sure how I'd handle it.
Your post brought a tear to my eye. What a beautiful baby boy! Congrats!
