I said other because I don't know. I got pregnant around mother's day 2002 and didn't know I was until the following month, then delivered in February...so I was never pregnant for it.
Typically, I would say no, but I voted other because I am going to be on the Ellen's Mother's Day Show, so I will get a lot of gifts and a big Mother's Day Celebration...so I am thinking I will do something nice for DH for Father's Day this year, since my Mother's Day will be quite the fanfare.

I think it's perfectly fine if you want to. I had DD the month before Mother's Day, so I actually was a mother when the day came around. And eventhough this will be DH's first biological child, I started celebrating Father's Day for him last year for DD.

This... only I didn't find out until almost 2 months later with DD in 2001. But I have friends and family who have celebrated it while pregnant

When I was pg with DS we did not do Mother's day because I hadn't given birth yet! The following year was my 1st mother's day, and it was very special because I had my boy and it was real!
I don't really know if we'll be celebrating OUR parenthood we haven't talked about it but we'll definitely will be making a big deal to the soon to be grandparents!

I'm thinking about mailing DH a card "from LO" for Father's Day.
I don't know if he'll think it was cute or think it's dumb that I wasted the money on a card and a stamp.
