CHW Challenge: What has your DH/SO done for you lately?

I know I will have lots of things to get irritated over during the next several months. No male of our species is capable of being totally considerate and solicitous for that consecutive period of time. So I'm trying to remember (and praise) the nice things when I can.

What has your DH/SO done for you lately that was totally nice and awww worthy?

Mr Techie adjusted both the upstairs and downstairs thermostats without being asked. He noticed that I was getting up earlier and going to bed earlier, so he changed the temperatures to be more comfortable for me during the new hours.

He did 6 loads of laundry last night, folded everything and has been making or ordering dinner for the last 2 weeks. Awww DH is a keeper

A couple of times he'll just say, "Thank you for carrying the baby" out of the blue.

It's nice to know that he kind of understands that it's going to be a lot of hard work for my body over the next 8 months.

Mr Brink called me panicked when I texted him 'call me when you get a sec' he was so worried something bad baby related was going on again. All I really wanted was for him to bring home some frozen mangos and some Oj for me to make smoothies....and he did :-)

But I do have strict orders to add a disclaimer to all my 'call me' txt  lol

Awwww. He washed and folded laundry? That's a Superman effort!

yum, a mango smoothie sounds delish!

mine went and got me a chocolate shake the other night when i wanted one. and he's been making dinner/cleaning up most nights, which is great. anytime he sees me doing housework, he gets up to help. it's very sweet.

LMAO! Nothing!!!  I am not cashing in any favors until I'm farther along/have a newborn.  I feel pretty good right now, so that helps.

He came home from Tae Kwon Do and cleaned the kitchen and made dinner BEFORE waking me up.

He's been doing the dishes every night and yesterday he cleaned the entire house while I was at class!  He told me he was upset that I had to puke in a toliet that hadn't been cleaned in a while (since I'm now too lazy and sick) so he decided to clean everything.  Totally sweet!  He has also made two special runs to the store to find me something I can eat this week alone. 

On another note, he also told me that I'm probably not that sick but that I just have a really low tolerance.  Gee, thanks.

Dh keeps doing sweet things. He rocks. Last night he brought me ice cream cake to bed ... he also gave our foster dog a bath and changed the litter boxes without me asking

Dh has been taking on the kids and allowing me to sleep in late, letting me fall into a nap when exhaustion overtakes me, has been making dinner too and getting me whatever I ask for.

 He usually does this with pregnancies luckily

i woke up Sunday morning to a spotless kichten... he even mopped the floor too!

We got a new puppy the day before I got my BFP. She still gets up every night around 3ish to go to the bathroom. He takes her out every night, without complaint, and gets up with her at 6 so I can sleep until my alarm goes off at 7. I love him!

He built me my salad table so that I can start my lettuce seeds.  I think he did that only because I threatened to do it and he doesn't want me touching his power tools!

MH has been amazing! I have only cooked one meal since our bfp, and he usually never cooks. He has done 90% of the laundry and cleaning. I have had back rubs and foot rubs consistently. I hope this is permanent!

He made dinner for me last night. And hasn't complained when I went to bed before 10 every night this week. He also seems more patient and accommodating to me. Let's see if it lasts

My wonderful husband. He has done almost everything these last few days since Ive had such crappy m/s. He takes the dog out, he gets me water, he made me dinner. He went to the store twice in one day for me too. :::sigh::: I love him.

Since my mom mentioned that I need to eat eggs to help with brain development, my DH has been making me fresh hard-boiled eggs every other night so that I can eat 2 per day(I don't like to eat them past the second morning for some reason).  I don't know how long I can keep it up, this is a lot of egg eating!
