CHW Challenge - How long were you TTC?

I guess officially for us it was 7 months, but I only charted for the last 3 months.

5 cycles for #3, which was surprising since it only took 1 cycle for 1 and 2 (had been charting before we started TTC #1, though). As I've gotten older, my cycles have gotten wacky.  And, as we've added more kids, we have less time to TTC.  LOL!

I had charted for four cycles before TTC (using condoms) but then I got a BFP the first cycle we actually tried. Yes, I am one of those people.  I'm sorry   I hung out on TTGP a lot when I was charting and then the one cycle we TTC, and I was almost embarrassed to post my BFP because I feel guilty that it was easy for us and so horribly difficult for so many completely deserving people.

The month before we decided to start TTC we had one incident of unprotected sex and after the BFN realized we were ready to try. If you count that month, this was cycle 3. It took us 3 cycles for #1.

We originally wanted to start trying last April, but due to cruel and unusual circumstances we absolutely couldn't try until this year. Now we just hope this baby sticks!

It took us 9 months I charted for 5 months.

We wanted to start trying in Nov of last year but I got put on a medical hold for 3 months. I charted during that time and was still charting when we were cleared in Feb.

So, 5 months but only 2 actual cycles.

I was off BCP and charting for 9 months, saying to each other we were TTA but never actually avoiding. The last 4 months we were actively trying. I was just starting to get really worried when my BFP came! We also had a poor morph SA in our last cycle, too, which had me freaked out.

 Same here.  The first month we never got our timing worked out, but I used OPK in March and that helped us out.

First cycle I wasn't really charting, but went into 2nd cycle on a mission!  I was very surprised that it happened that quickly

25 failed cycles, including 6 medicated and 4 failed IUIs.  I am so unbelievably happy to be pregnant.

7 months, i think it was 8 cycles, the last 6 of which we were charting and using opk's.

7 months, cycle #8 was our lucky one... used OPK's for last 3- but the cheap internet ones were the only ones that actually worked (used in March :P)

I just got off BCP b/c they made me feel all funky and we were not really trying. I knew we I o'ed and we didn't even have sex then but H likes to puff out his chest and talk about his super sperm now that I got pregnant.

Got off the pill in December and tried to be careful until February when we stopped caring. So I guess we only tried for a month or two.

One year, 5 cycles of charting. I was about to start testing, was just waiting for my period to start so I could do CD3 b/w, and I got my BFP!

We were very lucky... happened our first try. I also used opk's during that cycle.

It happened on the first cycle we actually tried. I was charting for a month before to get the hang of it. We feel really lucky to have had it that easy and don't talk about it too much with many people, to be honest.

 I was the same way, barely above lurker status on TTGP so when I got my BFP I just came to find a new home because I felt a little guilty. But I like this board a lot!

We stopped using condoms (I can't take bcp) in September to 'see what happens'. Nothing happened so I started charting in January and got a bfp 4/1

The second time we got it the 1st time.

I don't chart or use OPKs.

I had my IUD removed on 1/27/10, started my cycle on 1/29/2010. We weren't trying not to get pregnant in February, but we also didn't really try too much to get pregnant. I started charting on 2/24/2010 when I started my cycle again (& also used an OPK), & I got my BFP on 3/23/2010.

So it didn't even take us a whole 2 months, and we weren't even really trying the first. We are very fortunate!
