I need to vent about a couple things...
- morning sickness sucks. I didn't have it much with Gavin and certainly not this early. I literally have to start eating as soon as I wake up and keep munching constantly through out the day to keep it at bay. Not cool.
- my c-section scar feels funny. I guess things are already stretching so I feel twinges every once in a while. Dr wasn't concerned but it is another annoyance.
- I am so biotchy. I mean really, the hormones are crazy this time... and as soon as I eat, I'm nice again- for about 10 minutes.
- my boobs hurt. Again, much more than last time.
OK, my biotch session is over... feel free to add your own below :-)
Re: Now that I am out...
Sounds to me like we should go ahead and paint the nursery Pink
J/K
Yes, Pink nursery. Besides, we need a girl here to even out all these boys on here lately.
I never had m/s with Evie and this kid still has me puking my face off. I don't remember anything about my c/s scar, but I do remember round ligament pain being more awful this time. I've been hormotional like crazy this time. And my boobs got enormo this time. Not last time, but this time, I'm more "cleavy", to quote a friend.
Sorry you're having a rough time, but some of these were the reason I was convinced I was carrying the opposite gender this time around. Some of it could be second pregnancy stuff though.
I hope your m/s gets better.
I could have written this post!!!
I had to eat from morning to night until the last week or so. It's finally subsided a lot. I still have days when all of a sudden it hits and I go running to the bathroom.
Oh I second you on the c-section scar feeling weird. Mine has been bothering me off and on since I found out I was pg. And my RLP has been so much worse this time.
Well -- I hate to burst the "girl" bubble.. haha
But I had CRAZY HORRIBLE morning sickness ALL DAY from the moment I was pregnant until I hit about 4 1/2 months. I lost 12 pounds the first 4 1/2 months (def. put it back on and then some)... and my boobs hurt like crazy and my hormones RAGED... and mine is a boy. haha.
It just depends on how your body reacts to it. EVERY pregnancy isn't the same for 2 people... and some are... it definitely doesn't determine sex, which I'm sure you and everyone else knows!!
BUT- a girl would be nice!! I would love to have a girl second round!
This was my first thought too- but then my OB informed me that increased symptoms could be a sign that my already problematic thyroid is acting up. And sure enough, my endo called this afternoon with my lab results which showed it was overactive so I'll be adjusting my meds AGAIN. But maybe that means the ms with subside once that is stable???? Please!!!
ditto this, though luckily I never puked with either pregnancy. I was just nauseous all the time with #2. My worst thing though was that I was just so incredibly tired and achy. I'd fall asleep every night by 8.
Congratulations!!!! Yay!!
Okay well I had morning sickness with both and I have one of each. No help here but I am uber happy for you.
You know, my bff is a sonographer and she swears that boys/girls come in phases. Like she'll scan 25 girls all due w/in 10 days of each other and almost all will be having the same gender. Isn't that weird? Makes me remember in my childbirth class when I was pg w/ Emma that I was the only one out of 12 that wasn't having a boy.
I believe that....one of my good friends has 10 girlfriends that are pregnant right now and everyone one of them is having a girl!
I think so too. I remember when I was pg with Gavin it seemed like everyone I knew was also having a boy. And my OB confirmed that it had definitely been a "boy year" at their practice. She said it does seem to come in waves like that.
