  • Definitely Olivia.  Alivia looks like something a 17 year old names their kid, just to be "different."
  • I like the traditional Olivia better. Alivia reminds me of Aleve the pain medication.
  • definitely Olivia.  I laugh when I see it spelled with an A.

BTW, I am so glad you're going to be having those girls soon.  In the time I've been on this board I have never seen anyone ask about the same names over and over like you have.  It is actually ridiculous now.  I scan to find your post of the day because I am thoroughly amused by this...

  • Is Alivia a real name?

    I vote Olivia- very pretty

  • Definitely Olivia.  The other way doesn't look like a name for me.

I love the name Amelia by the way!

Sory I've been hogging all the space! But we're not telling anyone else the names so I like to hear opinions on here. If you don't like my posts then don't reply! I'm not trying to be rude just trying to get opinions!

You have NO idea what I've gone through with this pregnancy just to get to 30 weeks! I don't think you relize how pi**ed I am right now!

I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to make you angry.  To be truthful, you have picked beautiful names and we all loved them weeks ago. I even took your side when you were going with the two middle names to honor their triplet (when everyone was giving you a hard time).  I just think you are second guessing these names for no reason.  We all gave you opinions...they are great names.  Perfect together.  No reason to continue thinking.

  • I'm not as p***ed as before and thanks for liking the names. I may have overreacted but I'm very protective over my twins because I lost their triplet at 25 weeks and I don't think I could go through that again

and I do remember that...just know your girls have beautiful, classic names that they will love and won't have to spell or pronounce for anyone.  Just stop second guessing them.  You are probably driving yourself nuts for no reason.

  • Definitely Olivia.  Sounds very sweet with Amelia...which I LOVE btw.

  • You have to ask this question?  Olivia, without a doubt.  "Alivia" makes me think that Mommy can't spell.
  • Olivia.  When you do strange spellings on purpose, it looks like you're trying too hard to be different.  Go with the classics.

Plus, when your kids are little, they'll want to find things in the store with their names on it and the odds of finding anything with Alivia instead of Olivia will be rare. I know when I was little, I loved having pencils, pens, notepads, etc with my name on them.

  • olivia for sure. two A names [and especially one that normally begins with an O] is too much for twins.

  • I just read your post about what I said over on 3rd trimester...I need to mention what I said had nothing to do with your posts, but the fact that you have asked about the same names over and over again.  I really don't care if you or anyone else makes 500 posts a day. That wasn't my point.  I just didn't quite get why you have been asking about the same names when we all gave you our opinions. It was almost like you were hoping these opinions would change.

OK, that's it.  Just wanted to make sure we were clear with this...

  • Olivia.  Definitely.  Although I do have a student named Alivia and it doesn't really look "weird" to me... maybe because I'm used to it.
