I finally got a job at the beginning last week. The only good/bad part about it is it's temporary and it ends Thursday. I've been having to stand outside all day for the past week with no day off because they're paying me under the table. I ended up with sun poisioning. It really sucks! I have really bad sun burn all over from forgetting my sun block for just 1 day, but I worked 12 hours that day. I have heat blisters on my arms and head.
I'll be so glad when Thursday comes except I just got another job offer to do the same thing i'm doing now, but somewhere else and that job will be temporary also. The second place will be paying me a lot better and I won't be working 12 hours in 80 degree weather with no shade.
I finally mailed off my CS paperwork so hopefully I can get that started before my savings runs out. I've been having to buy LO a whole new wardrobe every MONTH since he was born and at 2 months 9 month clothes fit him perfectly and he wears a size 3 diapers.
Re: Is it Thursday yet?
Did you go to the drs to know that you have sun posioning?!
Please be very careful!!!
I had almmost 3rd degree burns one year, the blisters plus dehydration and ended up blacking out and hitting my head when I fell.
I hope you have some aloe, I hate sunburns.
I was told to put on spf 45 minutes every 30 minutes, which basically makes going outside a pain in the ass!!
Yea I went to the doctor. He found blisters on my head plus I knew I had them on my arms. The ones on my arms aren't bad but he said my head looked pretty bad.
Luckily I have an aloe plant that I use a lot! Yes I put SPF 50 sun block on every 45 min and that has helped soo much, I still get the headaches and cold chills though.
My doctor advised me to stay out of the sun but that's a little hard to do when you work outside with no shade!
I also just got offered a job doing the same work but at a different place getting paid a few dollars more an hour but working less hours. I accepted it and I start Saturday. Yes, i'm so desperate for money i'm willing to put my health at risk. I gotta do what it takes to provied for my children and I knew this before they were born, but I never thought how hard it would be.
