She is sooooo going to be onto me when I don't order a beer or margarita.  I can't even use the diet excuse b/c, well, I'm going out for Mexican.  Maybe I'll just swear her to secrecy. I think she's trustworthy enough.  LOL!

I'm sorry but I guess I am one of the people who don't give a damn about spilling the beans!  I mean I called my mom over the second I got a faint line on a $store cheapie -- I woke my husband up at 3 am when I got a plus sign on the real preggo test my mom that day and I called my 3 closest friends the next day!!!  I really really don't get why people hold out.  The people closest to you will be supportive and be with you during this happy time and be with you if things fall through.  So whatever, tell her, she's your BFF for crying out loud.....

I agree. She is your BFF share it with her. It will make dinner more fun :-)

If you don't want to tell her yet then I would get there a little bit early and order a virgin margarita at the bar and just slowly sip at it during dinner.

See my post 2 above yours   I think I might just go ahead and tell your BFF though.  I haven't told mine yet, but mostly because her sister is going through IVF so I haven't quite figured out what to say yet.

Being one "of those" that has told very few people, get a virgin drink if you aren't ready to tell her. There is nothing wrong with that.

If you do tell her, have fun. The few that we have told has been very fun to see their reaction.

She didn't suspect a thing, but I ended up telling her anyway.  LOL!  We kept dancing around another subject so I finally just came out and told her.  She was shocked!  It is really hard to tell people the 3rd time around, I'm so afraid they'll think I'm crazy.  I also have to be really careful not to let my kids find out about it b/c they cannot keep a secret and I don't want to have to tell them I'm not having a baby if something happens.
