with break ins?  My best friend had her GPS stolen out of her car last night in her garage (she left it open).  

Then my next door neighbor just told me they had a prowler in their garage last night and the people across the street called the cops.   They also left their garage door open.

That scares me that they have the guts to go in someones garage, who know where they'd stop. I am so paranoid about locking up an feel like I'm overly but not when I hear stuff like this.

scary.  My family had someone break in on us in the middle of the night when I was a kid.  I am so paranoid about these kind of things.

Bad economy generally leads to more crime because people start getting desperate.
