Hi girls!
I have been away from the internet all day & feel like I've missed out on so much!
I can't wait to scroll through your posts & see how everybody's doing today!
I'm really excited because DH and I have decided to tell our moms tonight at dinner that we're pregnant! (Yes, I'm one of those people that says "we're pregnant"...)
Anyway, we were going to wait and tell my family on Thursday night & his family this weekend because our Dr. appt is TR afternoon, but Dh's mom is in town visiting and she leaves before then, so we decided it would be best to tell both moms together tonight so it's as fair as possible (we've run into some jealousy issues in the past with my in-laws because they live 8 hours away and my family lives 5 minutes away).
I think this is a good solution & I would want to tell my mom if anything bad were to happen, so it's decided!!!
I'm actually kind of nervous... ![]()
We're going to do it really casual, I'm going to take a picture of Dh with his mom & then I'm going to say "Hey, get one of me with our moms" and then after they get ready to smile for the camera I'm going to say "I want to get three generations of both families in one shot...." and see how long they take to get it!

Re: Telling our Moms tonight... (long)
I'm hoping to tell my mom on Mother's Day. I don't know when we'll tell his mom...I'm not even excited to tell her. i think she'll either be totally anti-climatic and not be excited or go WAY overboard. (the MIL)
I say I'm pregnant or we're going to have a baby.
We're also going to tell our parents at the same time.
We have a family dinner with both of our parents every other month. The next one is on the 25th
Our parents get along great and since I don't have a lot of extended family near by my mom/dad often come to DH's family holiday events.
I'm really excited to tell them all. When I called DH's mom right after he proposed she just started SCREAMING with excitiment. So I bet it's going to be a similar reaction since this will be her first grandchild! And it'll be my mom's too! And she'll probably be our in-home babysitter when I got back to work, so she'll be thrilled. She loves babies!
