Tennessee Babies

Nashville / Clarksville TN

Hi Ladies!! New to Clarksville. i have one friend here... But, more important does anyone know any HIGHEST risk doctors in Nashville or know how good Vanderbilt is? i am very ill and somehow pregnant with our miracle.. i have severe traumatic brain ingury, bulging disks, a destroyed knee, stomach tumor, am severly anemic and the list goes on.. REALLY. i saw a OBGYN in Clarksville after horrible experience at the ER last Mon. Noone wanted to believe me until they called MD, Oncologist, neurologist, ortho, etc... anyway my LTD company has been meesing w/ ins for 2 yrs so i have gotten no procedures only worse. due to my seizures getting worse, no blood etc. the ob said we have to refer you to Vanderbilt and let them figure all this out, there's noway Clarksville can handle a high risk like you. Great. We prayed, counted daz tried everything to get pregnant this last year. All doctors said i don't think u have enough blood to even have a baby attach to uterus. Well just like God kept me here when i should have died a few yrs ago now our little blessing from God and miracle is here. i am scared to death. Noone understands and i just hope theey admit me and keep me until they figure everything out. if anyone has any ideas let me know.. God Bless <3

  • I have been very pleased with the Maternal Fetal Group in Nashville.

GL....you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • I have delt with Vandervilt on several occasions for different reasons and I have always been more than happy with the service from the nurses and doctors. I've never had experience with their maturnity care, but I and my husband have always recieved the highest quality medical care while there. I know they will take excellent care of you!

I truly hope everything works out well for you! You will be in my thoughts and prayers as well.

  • I don't have any experience with OBs at Vanderbilt but have never heard bad things.  It is an excellent hospital.  I have known several people who had babies born with severe life threatning issues and have beat the odds at Vanderbilt.  My nephew has been in and out there his whole life so far (9 years).  He suffers from an extremely rare, almost 100% fatal, genetic disorder and has always had the best of care.
