Drew vs Andrew

We are trying to settle our boy name and the current front runner is Drew.  We plan on calling him Drew as opposed to Andrew, but not sure....  The middle name is set on David.  I think Andrew David sounds better than Drew David, but how often do you really use both names? Any thoughts or suggestions?

I like names with options. Say come 20 years from now, your son wants a more formal name, he can have that with Andrew. 

I have been called Krissy my entire life by my family. On my resume and at work, I am called Kristine. So I may not use my birth name a lot, but I am glad I do get to use it.

I say go with what you want. Drew is at the top of my boys list, but I do not like Andrew.

I actually prefer the name Drew over Andrew. I think it's a really strong name and looks just as professional as Andrew.

I prefer Andrew with Drew as a nickname. We're naming our little boy Andrew but hoping to not give him a nickname. Andrew David sounds much nicer than Drew David.

I'd definitely name him Andrew and call him Drew.  Andrew is more formal and it is nice to have that option.  Also, Andrew David sounds SO much better than Drew David.

I would go with Andrew David. LOVE this name by the way. We have a Logan David, and if Andrew weren't taken by a cousin, we would have used it for one of our boys.
