Koala Baby clothes run small?

We bought outfits size 6-9m last night thinking they'd fit the girls this summer.  The tag said 17-20 lbs.  To our surprise they FIT the girls right now.  (Like, their feet are actually pushing on the bottom of the outfits.)

I was surprised and am trying to figure out whether the girls just grew a ton on me, or if these clothes just run small?

I think they both run small and shrink more than normal.  I rarely ever buy any of that brand unless it is for now (next couple weeks) and the child is with me.

MIL bought them an outfit that is 3-6, so my guess is it'll fit them perfectly now since the other 3-6 stuff is still a touch big.

I don't have anything that brand, but I do know that Gerber runs small.  My girls (who aren't big) fit Gerber earlier than the tag size says.
