How can you tell if it's baby acne or eczema??

My baby has what I think is baby acne, but how can I tell the difference between that and eczema??

    I found out with my first when i would give him a bath and wash his skin he would get little red bumps. His skin just wasnt very soft no matter how much lotion i put on. I hope your lo just has baby acne. My son is two now and its a major struggle everyday to keep him from scratching. Some eczema is allergy based and an be geneti too.

    I was sure DD had eczema this week, but doc says acne.  It's already way better in 2 days and I don't think eczema would improve that quickly.  Google images - eczema has a certain look that DD didnt have
