DIY Newborn photos

I decided to DIY my own newborn photos. Private photographers just cost an arm & a leg and I wanted something unique. I hope this helps give other people some ideas. I ordered birth announcements through magnetic messenger online...they are magnetic...and some of the money goes to charity. Enjoy!

What computer program do you use to keep the hat in color on the black and white picture. I was thinking about doing my own pics as well.

You can either go on picnik.com and use the free editing features to do that or you can use basic editing programs like Microsoft picture and just lower the saturation so it's almost b&w but still keeps some of the vibrant colors. :0)
