I'd really like to use bumgenius diapers when our baby comes but I think it's going to take a lot to convince MH that it's a better route to go.
I need anything - good websites, stats about saving money w/CDs vs. disposables, how they're better for the baby... Whatever you've got!
TIA

If you haven't already you shold really repost this over on Eco Friendly family. No offense the the mama's here but those mama's are the real CD experts on the Bump.

is a great place to start as far as websites go.
On another point BumGenius daipers are one size and are supposed to fit starting at 8 lbs I believe but most people find that they don't really fit well until 12 lbs. There are plent of inexpensive cloth options for the tiny newborn stage too though.

This blog started by one of the EFF mama's has tons of info too.
I love the Bum Genius All in One Organic Cotton with Snaps. They fit my baby from birth, but he was 9.7 pounds.
The best way to get my husband interested was talking about cost savings. We are having multiple kids so this was especially true for us.
Cotton Babies is a great website that as a lot of info on cloth diapering.
My DH was the same way at first. He was mostly concerned about the mess factor-- the fact that something LO pooped on was going in the same washing machine as his clothes, even though it wouldn't be the same load, weirded him out! Something I did for him was buy liners to start: https://www.bummis.com/ca/en/bio-soft-liners.php
That way, when LO has a BM, you just peel out the liner & flush it, and the diaper itself isn't a huge mess (as long as it's not a major blowout-- in which case you're dealing with poop everywhere no matter what!). Not necessarily the facts you were looking for, but it's something that helped me!
Everything is so exciting when you're one!
