S/0: How many tests did you take?

The reply below about taking 15 pregnancy tests made me wonder how many did you take before you would believe that you were actually pregnant??

 My count is 4 the day I found out I was pregnant (1 digital), 1 the next day, and 1 this morning.  So 6 in 4 days.

I took 3 hpt. last wed night i took 1 then 2 on thursday. tuesday i saw my nurse practioner and took a urine test all came back postitive...

I took 2 the day I got my BFP because the 1st one I took had such a faint line that I was worried I was making it up. 2 days later I had light spotting & freaked, so I took 3 that day... I had some sort of theory that if the line was still dark even after peeing all day that that meant my hormones were where they were supposed to be. Sure it was irrational, but it eased my mind. So all in all I took 5.

LOL...5.. Monday: 1 Target Brand and 2 First Response (3 Faint lines), waited 3 days to see if the line got darker...so...1 First Response last night and 1 First Response this morning but only because 2 came in the box

Lol, I used up all my tests the cycle before, so I only had one lone one in the cabinet and that's what I took, I was on my way to get my beta anyways.  I was so close to going and getting a digi.  Last time I got PG I had a digi and seeing it pop up pregnant made me so ecstatic.

Total= 7 ... 3 the first night (they were very very faint) 1 digi the next morning (said Pregnant).. another digi before the blood testing that day, 1 EPT the next night and 1 yesterday (My appt is next Wednesday and I wanted to make sure everything was going ok) Plus, I never really got to see the 2 lines and it was neat to look at !

I felt the same way.. it eased my mind seeing a darker line !!

First pregnancy:

I took one digital and two more non-digital the next 2 mornings. So 3.

This time:

I got a BFN on Mon. and Tues. of this week. Then a very, very faint BFP on a dollar store test yesterday morning. So faint that I didn't believe it and was sure i had imagined the line. But, something just kept telling me that I was PG. I just knew it. SO I tested iwth a dollar store test again this AM, and again saw a very faint line. So I used an early response test a got a dark line right away. And now I am already wanted to take another one! So 4 so far.

 The last was a week ago because I had 1 digital left that I thought I might as well use!

I got bunch of iternet cheepies the day that I got my BFP so I decided to pee on one since AF should show the next day but I felt fine.. and there were 2 lines DH didnt really believe it so we went and got a digital. Before I took the digital (didnt want to waste) I took an internet cheepie and a target brand. Both positive and then the digital.. The last one i took was the day before we told our families just for pc of mind.

3. I got 2 BFNs before the 3rd test. I have a 4th test sitting in my bathroom that I might just PO just because!

I did six total.  One FRER and one digital the first day, then the FRER spread out a couple of days later.

3.  1 at 9 dpo and it was so faint I took another at 10 dpo.  I had another so I figured I'd better just use it and took that on 12 dpo when AF was officially late.

I believed it with the first one I took. But I kept taking more because after spending so long NOT being pregnant, I liked seeing the lines and the word.

Here's where I admit it yet again! I took 10 total (but in 8 days!) 2 on the first day, 2 on the second, and then one for a week or so after. Basically I used my internet cheapies until they were gone. It was fun to see how dark the line got after starting with a very faint line the first day.

6! I took 1 cheapie on a whim, and when I saw a verrry faint line, I took another and got the same result.  After DH got home and I showed him, he wanted me to do another.  Since it was so early and I'd just peed, it came up negative.  The next morning I took a digital. The day after that, I took a cheapie just to see if my line was darkening.  I did the same thing this morning and got a very dark line, so I may be able to stop the maddness, lol. I have an unopened box of CBE digitals, and I am fighting the urge!

4 total.  2 on the day I got a positive (a $ store one and a generic store brand).  A digital the next morning.  And a digital a couple days ago to make sure I was pg and not just getting super bloated due to being fat-lol.

I was right there with ya. I took a gazillion of them over the course of 3 days until I got my beta results. I actually took 2 more after my first beta while I waited for the results from the second!

I took 3 hpt, one last friday, one saturday, one sunday, and then I had a beta on Monday and a beta on Wednesday.

...I just really like to watch the line get darker!  I've taken 3 FRER, 1 digi and over 10 of the cheap test strips from the internet.

 

I think my lines are as dark as they can possibly get now so I'm done...maybe
