Can we talk poop, please?

Abigail's been dealing with constipation for almost a year now, so I don't know whats normal in the way of poop. Both yesterday and today she has had one massive poop each day. I'm talking seeping out the diaper on all sides and getting e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e!! And its bright yellow (sorry!!). Is this normal???  My sister said something that a similar thing happened to her son around the same age and the dr said it was something like toddler diarrhea (?). Oh and she's had horrible, rancid gas to go along with it.

The gut floor is constantly evolving in kids. I wouldn't be too worried about if she's acting fine. It could be that her poo is regulating and trying to normalize. Has she eaten anything new or funny?

I don't know about the color, but Owen had a lot of constipation problems before. He is now usually pooping once a day or every other day. It's usually a pretty big poop, but doesn't leak. It's more solid. The color does chnage some depending on his diet. Had she been eating a lot of citrus fruit or mango, peaches, anything like that? I've never heard of toddler diarrhea, but that doesn't really mean anything.

And I have no idea about washing the stuffed animal since you can't put it in the washer. Hopefully someone will have a good answer for you.

I remember Gavin went through a phase like this- don't remember when, but definitely in the last year.  The gas was so stinky!
