how I eat taco bell with GD

I got some mission low carb tortillas (7g after you take out the fiber) and some Ortega whole grain taco shells (5g after fiber).

I order a #1. Burrito supreme with a soft taco supreme. I bring them home and transfer all the insides to my own shells. From the website I am guessing that I am saving about 32g of carb by eating them with my shells than with their standard stuff. 

Total carbs for the meal 26g of carb (the insides + the shells - all the fiber). Yummy.

  • I can gobble down 3 hard shell tacos with meat and cheese and cinnomin twists and ALWAYS get great numbers.  One of the only places I seem to be able to eat at now days!  Had me some tacos for lunch today :)

    I want a bean burrito from taco bell so badly.  I can't wait to have a bunch when I'm not pregnant. 

    I had a mexican pizza from there a couple weeks ago and paired it with some chicken that I made at home.  My numbers were good.

  • I have done the bean burrito by buying a pintos and cheese and putting it my own tortilla. It tasted exactly the same.
  • Ya'll are kiling me. I don't have GD (i have other issues) but DH doesn't believe in fast food. We maybe eat it 4 times a year. But I LOVE me some taco bell. Now I'm going to see how I can convince him to go get me some... Thanks ladies.
